Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
605 AM EDT Sun Oct 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will bring one more warm and dry day,
today. However, a cold front will sweep through eastern Kentucky
during the evening with a chance of showers and thunderstorms for
locations generally east of Interstate 75 and US 25 E. Rainfall from
this, for most locations, will only be a few hundredths of an inch
at best. Behind that front, dry conditions and below normal to near
normal temperatures settle in for the new work week. Humidities
should bottom out below 40 percent for most areas each afternoon from
Monday to Friday.
