Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
615 AM EST Fri Feb 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...A period of active weather can be expected across
eastern Kentucky over the next seven days, as a series of storm
systems move through the region. Today looks to be dry, though more
rounds of rain are on tap for the weekend. Then more rain, and even
some snow, can be expected Sunday night through the middle of the
week, as a couple waves of low pressure move through eastern
Kentucky. Snow accumulations will be possible north of the Mountain
Parkway Monday night and Wednesday night into Thursday, as much
colder air filters into the region.
