Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
354 PM EST Wed Dec 4 2024

.DISCUSSION...An arctic cold front will cross the area tonight,
with a few gusts as high as 35 mph to 40 mph possible as the front
passes. The front should initially bring a mix of rain and snow
showers, with snow showers or a few snow squalls anticipated late
tonight behind the front. Despite decreasing clouds on Thursday, it
will be unseasonably cold with temperatures not getting out of the
20s in most places. Warmer weather will make a comeback over the
weekend and early next week, but it should also turn wet early next
week.
