Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
743 AM EST Tue Dec 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...Remaining precipitation will taper off today,
mainly in the morning. It will transition from rain to snow
from northwest to southeast as it tapers off. However, the
back edge of significant precipitation will be moving faster
than the changeover, which could mean that some places in
southeast Kentucky don`t see a change to snow. Mainly dry
but cold weather should then hold through Thursday.
