Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
607 AM EDT Sun Aug 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...Seasonably hot and mostly dry weather with light
winds is expected today. A stray shower cannot be ruled out this
afternoon and early evening, mainly over and west of the Daniel
Boone National Forest; but a vast majority of the area will remain
dry. The pattern will transition to a more humid and unsettled
pattern Monday and Tuesday, with daily shower and thunderstorm
chances persisting through the remainder of the week.
