Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 630 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Palm Valley, or 17 nm north of Saint Augustine, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Casablanca Reef, Palm Valley, and Jacksonville Beach.
