Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm-
223 PM EDT Tue Oct 1 2024

.SYNOPSIS...

A lingering surface trough over the northeast Florida waters will
slowly shift southward on Wednesday as high pressure builds
northeastward from the Ozarks towards the Ohio Valley. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the northeast
Florida waters through this evening. Stronger high pressure will
then build over New England and Atlantic Canada later this week
and into the weekend, with this feature wedging down the
southeastern seaboard, resulting in gradually strengthening
onshore winds and building seas. Small Craft Advisory conditions
are possible this weekend, especially offshore. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase by Friday and
the weekend as broad and slow moving low pressure potentially
takes shape over the Gulf of Mexico.
