Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 1/10 of the waves. AMZ400-062130- Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm- 1112 AM EDT Sun Oct 6 2024 .SYNOPSIS... High pressure will be northeast of the region today. The region will be between a trough across south central Florida and a front across the southeast states. Tropical cyclone Milton, over the southwest Gulf of Mexico today, is expected to move east to northeast into the central Gulf early Tuesday morning. Milton is currently expected to make landfall over the west coast of Florida Wednesday, then move east northeast across Florida. There is still uncertainty in the exact track and timing of Milton, but impacts from Milton are expected across the area. The storm is expected to move east of area waters late Thursday, but elevated wind and sea conditions will remain on its back side. Please monitor the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center regarding Milton, as Tropical Storm or Hurricane conditions are possible over the local waters mid week. .GULF STREAM...
