...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled in Lincoln and Lawrence
Counties Today...

The National Weather Service office in Jackson, MS will conduct a
storm survey on today, March 5, 2025 for the area near Jayess in
Lincoln and Lawrence Counties in Mississippi. The survey is in
relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area
on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by Wednesday evening.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/jan, and via our social media
channels (@NWSJacksonMS).
