Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
256 PM CDT Sun Apr 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...Cooler than normal the next couple of days in the
wake of a cold front that shifted southeast of the area this
morning. The significant rain chances have ended however, very low
chances of light rain/light drizzle will remain possible tonight
before tapering off from the west Monday morning. Dry weather
Monday afternoon will last through Thursday before rain chance
return in the north Thursday night. Patchy light fog is likely
across the southern half of the area early Monday morning but no
significant fog development is anticipated Tuesday morning.
