Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
214 PM CDT Mon Jun 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...Hot and humid conditions will continue through
mid-week with mainly afternoon and early evening showers and
thunderstorms. Slightly drier air will sneak into the area
Thursday into the weekend behind a front that`ll drop south
through the area. This will also result in lower rain chances
heading into the upcoming holiday weekend. Patchy ground fog is
possible through around daybreak Tuesday, and again Wednesday.
