Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
202 PM CDT Mon Aug 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Patchy fog is possible in the south Tuesday and Wednesday
mornings. Warmer than normal temperatures are expected over the
western half of the area while near normal temperatures continue
in the east. A warming trend to above normal temperatures areawide
along with increasing moisture is expected by late week. This
will lead to increasing heat stress but also greater diurnal rain
chances especially across southeast portions of the area.
