Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
240 PM CST Wed Dec 4 2024

.DISCUSSION... Ridging has moved off to our east, while a low
level disturbance is coinciding with a cold front from the north.
These two mechanisms will bring rain for the entire forecast area
throughout the rest of the day. The cold front is expected to exit
the region by mid morning, bringing an end to the precipitation.
Rapidly falling temperatures are expected to follow behind and
dominate the next few days. Fog is not expected to be a
significant concern.
