Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
149 PM CDT Sat Oct 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...Dry weather will prevail through the next week.
Afternoon minimum relative humidity values will range between 30
to 45 percent this weekend. There is limited fire danger across
east and southeast fire districts this afternoon and again Sunday.
However, this is a low end risk due to light northerly surface
winds. With no appreciable rain chances in the near future, fuel
moisture will continue to decline but light winds may limit fire
danger concerns. Fog is not expected the next few days.
