Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
259 AM CDT Sun Aug 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...No significant fog development is expected this
morning but patchy is possible in the south Monday morning.
Warmer than normal temperatures are expected over the western half
of the area again today. A gradual warming trend along with
increasing moisture is expected next week. This will lead to
increasing heat stress concerns but also greater diurnal rain
chances.
