...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially in areas near
  Lake Michigan where gusty winds reaching around 45 mph could
  reduce visibility in blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty
  winds could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
