.DISCUSSION...

Antecedent dry conditions from lack of rainfall will pair with very
dry air being brought into the area behind a cold front moving
through today. MinRH values in the 20 to 30 percent range will pair
with gusty winds between 25 and 30 mph to provide an elevated fire
weather danger day. 10 hr fuels appear to still have some moisture
to work with in the northwestern portion of the forecast area (15 to
20 percent), but wouldn`t be surprised if fuels were drier where
rainfall deficits are higher and data is little more sparce. MinRH
values between 30 and 40 percent are still possible as we enter the
work week and beyond with this dry air returning and taking hold. At
this point, wind gusts are forecast to be relaxed enough to not pick
out any one particularly day conducive to fire weather concerns.
