...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Martin, Lawrence and
southeastern Daviess Counties through 1015 AM EDT...

At 940 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Shoals, or 22 miles northeast of Petersburg, moving
east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shoals, Loogootee, West Boggs Lake, Indian Springs, Oolitic,
Tunnelton, Huron, Alfordsville, Lacy, Williams, Avoca, Spring Mill
State Park, Mitchell, Silverville, Bedford, Burns City, and
Cannelburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
