...ELEVATED FIRE DANGER TODAY...

A combination of drying surface vegetation, wind gusts in the 20
to 30 mph range, and relative humidity values below 30 percent
will lead to an elevated risk of grass and brush fires this
afternoon across much of central Indiana.

Burning is discouraged under the expected conditions. Take care to
avoid accidentally starting fires, including by being careful
with equipment that may spark and by not operating vehicles
around dry vegetation.
