Heat and humidity will increase into the fourth of July holiday weekend with heat indices approaching 100 degrees each afternoon from Friday through Sunday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon. Thunderstorms will become more likely late Sunday into Monday night as a weak cold front moves through the region.
