NOAA Weather Radio station KXI-48 in Newton, which operates
on a frequency of 162.450 MHz, is back in service.

The transmitter had been down for several weeks. Lightning struck
the tower and sliced the coax cable in half, and subsequent water
damage contributed to the problem.
