This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A line of thunderstorms will drift into portions of west central
Illinois Tuesday evening, decaying as it moves toward Interstate 55.
These storms will carry an attendant severe weather risk, with the
primary hazard being damaging thunderstorm wind gusts near 60 mph. In
addition, torrential rainfall will accompany this thunderstorm
activity, leading to an urban and small stream flood risk.

Periods of heavy rainfall will then occur Wednesday evening through
Thursday evening along a stationary front, perhaps leading to a more
widespread flood threat.

central Illinois and southeast Illinois.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Hot and humid conditions return on Wednesday, with heat index values
potentially exceeding 100 degrees in areas along and south of
Interstate 70.

Scattered thunderstorms will develop Wednesday afternoon and evening
along and south of a stationary front. These storms will carry an
attendant severe weather and flood risk, with damaging winds near 60
mph being the primary hazard.
