Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
332 AM CDT Mon Sep 30 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Mainly dry weather is expected across central and southeast Illinois
today...with isolated showers developing along and south of I-70
during the afternoon. Thanks to low mixing heights and light
winds, ventilation will remain poor. A cold front will sweep
through the region late tonight, resulting in gusty NW winds and
much improved ventilation on Tuesday.
