Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
308 AM CST Fri Feb 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather is expected across central and southeast Illinois
today: however, mixing heights below 2500ft and light winds will
lead to poor ventilation rates. A storm system will spread light
precipitation across the area on Saturday. A period of freezing
rain will occur along and north of a Rushville...to Lincoln...to
Danville line during the morning before changing to rain by
midday. Further south, all rain is expected.
