...FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH
A FLOOD ADVISORY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following counties, in northern Kentucky, Carroll,
Gallatin, Grant, Owen and Pendleton.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect
many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1048 AM EDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in
across the warned area. The city of Butler in Pendleton
County is cut off. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall up to a half inch is possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
