...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The following county, in northeast Kentucky, Lewis and the
  following counties, in south central Ohio, Pike and Scioto.

* WHEN...Until 845 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1124 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
    warned area.  Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Portsmouth, Waverly, Wheelersburg, New Boston, Piketon,
    Greenup, South Webster, Lucasville, Clarktown, Rosemount,
    Sciotodale, Pike Lake, Franklin Furnace, Beaver, Rarden,
    Otway, Wakefield, Bear Creek, Mcdermott and Germany.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
