...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn,
  Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland.

* WHEN...Until 845 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 636 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
    in near Elrod and Friendship areas in Ripley County. Between
    1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
    amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Versailles, Milan, Osgood, Dillsboro, Moores Hill, Pleasant,
    Holton, Olean, Benham, Cross Plains, Friendship, Versailles
    Lake, Farmers Retreat, Avonburg, Rexville, Cold Springs, New
    Marion, Bear Branch, Otter Village and Allensville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
