...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL NEW HANOVER AND EAST
CENTRAL BRUNSWICK COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1230 PM EDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM EDT for southeastern
North Carolina.

Please send your reports of hail and/or wind damage, including trees
or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office
in Wilmington at 1-800-697-3901.
