...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NEW HANOVER...SOUTHWESTERN
PENDER...EASTERN BRUNSWICK AND NORTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH
515 PM EDT...

At 414 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Council to near Batarora to near Brunswick
County Community College Main Campus to Holden Beach. Movement was
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Leland, Oak Island, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach,
Kure Beach, Holden Beach, Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island, Snows Cut,
South Masonboro Island, Ocean Crest Pier, Figure Eight Island, Rich
Inlet, North Masonboro Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, St. James,
Southport, Northwest, and Sandyfield.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 412 and 416.
 Interstate 140 between mile markers 15 and 20.
