...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FLORENCE COUNTY THROUGH
400 PM EDT...

At 335 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Effingham, or 8 miles southwest of Florence, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Quinby, Sardis, Mars Bluff, Effingham, Florence Darlington
Technical College Main Campus, Francis Marion University, Claussen,
New Hope, Evergreen, Coward, Olanta, Central Crossroads, Carolinas
Hospital System, Mcleod Regional Medical Center, Carolinas Hospital
System - Cedar Tower, and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 20 near mile marker 141.
 Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 152 and 166,
and near mile marker 168.
