SOUTHEASTERN BLADEN...BRUNSWICK AND EAST CENTRAL COLUMBUS COUNTIES
THROUGH 330 PM EST...

At 235 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wallace to near Civie Town. Movement was
northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Penderlea, Point Caswell, Wrightsville Beach, Maple Hill,
Hightsville, Long Creek, Cape Fear Community College North Campus,
Cape Fear Hospital, Hampstead, Snows Cut, Bald Head Island,
Wilmington International Airport, Murrayville, St. Helena, Currie,
Castle Hayne, Rich Inlet, Brunswick Novant Medical Center, Ogden, and
Wilmington.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 389 and 416.
 Interstate 140 between mile markers 15 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EST for southeastern
North Carolina.
