At 235 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wallace to near Civie Town. Movement was northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Penderlea, Point Caswell, Wrightsville Beach, Maple Hill, Hightsville, Long Creek, Cape Fear Community College North Campus, Cape Fear Hospital, Hampstead, Snows Cut, Bald Head Island, Wilmington International Airport, Murrayville, St. Helena, Currie, Castle Hayne, Rich Inlet, Brunswick Novant Medical Center, Ogden, and Wilmington.
