  Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20
  nm...
  Waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC from 20 to 40
  nm...
  Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to
  40 nm...

* Until 115 PM EST.

* At 1217 PM EST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 16 nm
  northwest of Myrtle Beach to near South Santee River Entrance,
  moving east at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ten Mile Reef, Little River Sea Buoy, Winyah Bay Sea Buoy, Sherman
  Wreck, Bill Perry Junior Reef, Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, Georgetown
  Nearshore Wreck, Myrtle Beach Rock, Inshore Hole, Springmaid Pier,
  Georgetown Reef, Paradise Reef, Jungle, Belky Bear, East Bank Buoy,
  Little River Reef, Litchfield Beach, C J Davidson Wreck, North
  Inlet Reef, and Little River Entrance.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
