  Waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 40
  nm...
  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 145 PM EDT.

* At 1243 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located over the coastal waters of Southeast
  North Carolina, moving northeast at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

  Wreck 33, Masonboro Sea Buoy, North Masonboro Island, Frying Pan
  Shoals Buoy, Harris Reef, City Of Houston, 10 Mile Rocks,
  Sheepshead Rock, Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower, Buoy Off Carolina
  Beach, Wr2, Wr4, Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, 5 Mile Boxcars, 10 Mile
  Boxcars, Liberty Ship, Dallas Rock, Billy Murrell Reef, A R 445,
  and Cape Fear Sea Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM EDT for southeastern
North Carolina...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.
