* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...

* Until 900 AM EDT.

* At 755 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing wind
  gusts to 40 knots were located along a line extending from 6 nm
  west of Snows Cut to 7 nm south of Cape Fear Sea Buoy, moving
  northeast at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fort Fisher, Liberty Ship, Billy Murrell Reef, Johnny Mercer Pier,
  Masonboro Sea Buoy, Cape Fear Sea Buoy, Harris Reef, Kure Beach
  Point, Sheepshead Rock, Buoy Off Carolina Beach, Dredge Wreck, 5
  Mile Boxcars, Masonboro Island, and Bald Head Island.
