CAROLINA BEACH...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 852 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Topsail Boxcars to near
Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower, moving northeast at 30 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Wr4, Wreck 33, School House Reef, and Wr2.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. If caught on the open water, prepare
for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
