Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
308 AM EST Fri Nov 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...
After cloudy skies and early morning spotty drizzle, skies will
partially clear from SW to NE later this morning thru this
afternoon. Temps today will rise into the 60s (near normal).
Breezy and gusty NW to N winds today will diminish quickly by and
after sunset, to less than 5 mph for tonight under clear skies.
Dry high pressure will prevail this weekend with sunny
days and clear nights with daily temps near normal. The high will
slide off the Carolina coasts early next week allowing a warm-up
to occur across the area with daily highs reaching the 70s. A cold
front will bring increased rain chances to the area late Wed into
Thu.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight is None.
