...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast North Carolina, including the
  following areas, Coastal Brunswick, Columbus and Inland Brunswick
  and northeast South Carolina, including the following areas,
  Central Horry, Coastal Horry and Northern Horry.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Chantal will bring heavy rain
    to the area through late today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
