Warm and sunny skies prevailed across central and eastern Kansas
today. Daytime highs were in the 80s with light easterly winds.

Surface high pressure will remain over the region for tonight with
clear skies and light winds. Overnight lows will range from the
upper 40s in western Kansas with 50s expected across the remainder
of the central plains.

Another dry weather day will be in store for the Heartland on
Monday with upper level high pressure remaining overhead.
Meanwhile a surface low pressure trough will deepen over eastern
Colorado during the day. This will create breezy south winds of 15
to 25 mph over western Kansas, and central Nebraska with lighter
winds across eastern Kansas into Missouri. Daytime highs will be
in the 80s over middle America.
