A dynamic system is slowly progressing into the central plains,
and is bringing widespread rain and snow across large portions of
eastern Colorado and western Kansas this morning. Temperatures
this morning range from the teens across western Nebraska to the
upper 40s across portions of southeast Kansas. Periods of rain and
snow will continue across the High Plains throughout the day
today, with afternoon temperatures across the region ranging from
the mid 30s across eastern Colorado to the low 60s across southern
Kansas and southern Missouri. By tonight, rain begins to slowly
spread eastward across Kansas and southern Nebraska while snow
continues across the High Plains. Lows tonight will range from
the upper 20s across eastern Colorado to the mid 40s across
southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.

Widespread showers with a few embedded storms are expected across
much of Kansas and Nebraska, with snow continuing across the High
Plains, throughout much of Friday and Friday night. Friday afternoon
highs will range from the mid 30s across eastern Colorado to the
mid 60s across southern Missouri. Friday night lows will range
from the upper 20s to the low 50s across southeast Kansas.
