Showers and thunderstorms were ongoing during the morning hours
over parts of central and south central Kansas. With some breaks
in the clouds, afternoon high temperatures managed to climb into
the low to mid 80s in a few locations, while much of the region
experienced highs in the mid and upper 70s.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms may impact northern and
parts of central Kansas tonight into early Monday. Lows tonight
will bottom out in the mid 60s over the high plains of northwest
Kansas while those in southern Kansas see lows in the lower 70s.

Showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast on Monday
afternoon over western Kansas while above normal temperatures
return to the region. Afternoon highs are expected to top out near
the century mark across northwest Kansas while those in far
eastern Kansas see highs in the mid and upper 80s.
