...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1989, incredible record warmth continued from the
Great Plains to the East Coast.  Temperatures reached 70
degrees as far north as New England, and readings in the
80s were reported across the southeast quarter of the
nation.  Nineteen cities tied record high temperatures
for the date.  For the second time in November, Dallas
reached 89 degrees, which had tied their all-time record
for the month.The Waco Texas high of 91 degrees was
their warmest on record for so late in the season.
