This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will continue through sunrise across mainly
the northern half of Kansas. Dime size hail and heavy rain are the
primary concerns.

Heat index values around 105 are expected this afternoon across
portions of central and southern Kansas.

A few storms are possible across central Kansas late tonight with heavy
rain being the primary concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat index values around 105 degrees are expected along and
southeast of a line from Salina to Lyons Tuesday afternoon.

Severe storms are possible Tuesday afternoon across portions of
central and south central Kansas. Damaging winds up to 70 mph and
heavy rainfall are the primary concerns.

Triple digit heat index values are possible across southern Kansas
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Off-and-on thunderstorm chances will continue Tuesday night through
next weekend.
