This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A few lingering thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and
tonight, especially over southeast Kansas, but the potential for
widespread severe weather and heavy rainfall is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A few lingering thunderstorms will remain possible Tuesday through
Wednesday over southeast Kansas, but the potential for widespread
severe weather and heavy rainfall is low.

After a modest cool down through Tuesday, triple digit heat indices
may return by Thursday, and persist through at least the weekend.

Low thunderstorm chances may enter back into the forecast by
Saturday night and Sunday.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
