This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers with embedded thunderstorms will increase in coverage
tonight generally along and west of I-135. Severe thunderstorms are
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue spreading
east across the region Friday and Friday night, ending Saturday
morning. Areas of heavy rainfall and localized flooding are
possible, especially across central and south-central Kansas. Any
flooding should be mostly confined to low-lying and flood-prone
locations. Additionally, severe thunderstorms are not expected.

Additional chances for showers and thunderstorms could arrive
anytime next Tuesday evening or Wednesday, mainly over eastern
Kansas. Severe thunderstorms or widespread heavy rainfall is not
expected.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
