...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM CDT MONDAY FOR
SOUTHEASTERN COWLEY AND SOUTHWESTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. In addition, we have received a few
reports of over 5 inches of rainfall in the area with more expected
tonight.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cedar Vale and Elgin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
