...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL MARSHALL...
SOUTHWESTERN MADISON AND EAST CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM
CDT...

At 347 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Redstone Arsenal, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40-50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Huntsville, Redstone Arsenal, Owens Cross Roads, Triana,
Marshall Space Flight Center, Morgan City, Somerville, Laceys Spring,
Valhermoso Springs, and Farley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
