...River Statement For The Paint Rock River at Woodville...

Runoff from rainfall caused river levels to rise rapidly on the Paint
Rock River, but the river appears to have crested this morning, and
is expected to gradually fall through the next few days. Although it
is not expected to reach flood stage, some nuisance flooding of
lowlands may still occur.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 1:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 5.9 feet Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...The Butler Bottom Lowlands near the river
  are flooded. High waters are approaching County Road 20 north of
  the town of Paint Rock.
