...Storm survey will be conducted today for Lauderdale County in
Alabama, as well as Tishomingo and Alcorn Counties in
Mississippi...

The National Weather Service office in Huntsville AL will conduct
a storm survey today for damage that occurred yesterday in
northwestern Lauderdale County, Alabama. In the spirit of offering
mutual aid to the National Weather Service in Memphis TN, this
survey will also be conducted for damage from the same storm that
occurred in Tishomingo and Alcorn Counties in Mississippi. The
survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved
through the area on April 3 2025.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
later this afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/hun
