Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
159 PM CDT Thu Apr 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather continues through the weekend before rain chances
return Sunday night. Wetting rains, however, do not return until
Monday when medium to high chances (50-70%) of showers/storms move
into the Tennessee Valley. While we still remain outside of Red
Flag Criteria tomorrow (Friday), we will have elevated fire concern
as RH values drop to 25-35% combined with gusty 20 ft winds.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time, however,
elevated concern Friday due to low RH values (25-35%) and gusty 20
foot winds.
