.DISCUSSION...
Slight cooler conditions are forecast across Northern Alabama
today, in the wake of a cold front passage. Highs should range in
the mid/upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. However, greater
residual moisture will keep low-end shower and thunderstorm
chances this afternoon for parts of northeast Alabama. With
lighter winds east, Fair smoke dispersion rates are expected.
Generally Good rates are expected elsewhere.
Somewhat higher rain chances are expected for the Friday through
Sunday time frame. Rain chances will be lesser to the west and
higher east.
Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy late night and early
morning fog is possible, especially in sheltered valleys and in
places that received recent rainfall.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not forecast at this time.
