.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather is expect to develop shortly after sunrise on
Saturday. Dry conditions will continue through the afternoon, but
afternoon relative humidity values should still remain above 40
percent. Westerly 20 foot winds between 5 and 10 mph gusting to
around 14 mph are expected on Saturday. Western transport winds of
10 gusting to around 15 mph are possible on Saturday as well.
Mixing heights above 6000 are expected.
Late Saturday night into Sunday, expect another round of showers
and thunderstorms are expected. Some of these could be severe. 20
foot winds will become southwesterly around 5 mph gusting to
around 10 mph. Southwesterly transport winds around 20 mph are
expected. Mixing heights above 5000 feet primarily should occur.
Afternoon relative humidity values will be very high, above 60
percent.
Fog potential over the next few days: Winds should keep fog at
bay through the period.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected due to the
wet conditions or high afternoon relative humidity in the
forecast.
