Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
1209 AM CDT Sun Jul 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and mostly dry weather is expected again today. Only a slim
chance of a shower or thunderstorm exists this afternoon in
northwest Alabama. Daily shower and thunderstorm chances will go
up the rest of the week as high pressure in the region breaks
down. Transport winds the next two days will remain below 10 mph.
Smoke dispersion will be fair to good with deep mixing heights
both days.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy overnight and early
morning fog will be possible.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
